Tara Cayll:
Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern

Tara is a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern who holds a Masters Degree in Counseling from Webster University (2012) and a Bachelors Degree in Psychology from the University of Central Florida (2006). Tara has experience and training in working with clients of all ages- children, adolescents, and adults. Prior to becoming a RMHCI, Tara was a Professional School Counselor and Educator for 20 years, where she gained experience in helping adolescents with emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and goal-setting.

 

Tara provides an open-minded, non-judgmental, safe space, where clients feel comfortable to drop their mask and simply be themselves. Her therapy room is a sacred space to process emotions, reprocess past distressing experiences, and practice self-compassion. Her passion is working with clients who are motivated to overcome the traumas in their life that cause them to be “stuck” in self-limiting patterns.

 

Tara has specialized training in trauma, Anxiety, EMDR, Polyvagal, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness techniques/yoga, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and is IFS informed.  She is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional Training (CCTP-II), Anxiety Informed Professional, and is an EMDRIA approved EMDR therapist. For in person EMDR therapy, Tara uses state of the art, wireless, EMDR equipment (EMDR Kit, made in the Netherlands) to ensure client comfort and personalization.
