Leslie Worth:
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist,
Certified Sex Therapist,
Nationally Certified Counselor
Leslie is a Florida native, growing up in the central Florida area. Before returning to school to pursue her master’s in Marriage, Family, and Couple’s Therapy, she worked as a technician in the theatrical/entertainment industry. As a technician, she built upon her natural puzzle solving ability and now uses those skills to assist in the therapeutic process. She specializes in assisting clients with navigating the bumps and detours we all encounter on life’s journey and solving the problems encountered along the way.
Leslie received her Master’s degree from the University of Central Florida and worked for a non- profit community agency from May 2018 to September 2020. She launched Worthwhile Therapy in the summer of 2020. She enjoys working with adults, couples, non-traditional relationships, polyamorous dynamics, and assisting clients to explore their authentic identities.
She is a certified sex therapist and is a sex positive and LGBTQ affirming therapist. Sex-positive therapy affirms your sexuality, without making it the sole focus of your treatment. Clients can work out issues they have around sexuality, without being pressured to change their identity, or feeling that their normal is somehow “wrong.” Her approach is rooted in Existential Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Systemic Sex Therapy, providing space for you to discover your truth.
Accepted insurances include: UnitedHealth/Optum, Cigna/Evernorth, Aetna, and Humana. She also offers private pay options. For more information, please contact Leslie at Leslie@worthwhiletherapy.com or visit WorthwhileTherapy.com. Her phone number is 352-436-6787.
