Joshua (Josh) Allton is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and is excited to join the family of Corrine Drive Counseling Center. Josh graduated in 2019 from the University of Central Florida with a master’s degree in Marriage, Couples, and Family Therapy. Josh was the Graduate Student Representative for both the national and state chapters of the LGBTGEQIAP+ division of the American Counseling Association in 2019 (formerly known as ALGBTIC and now known as SAIGE- Society for Sexual, Affectional, Intersex, and Gender Expansive Identities). Josh specializes in LGBTGEQIAP+ needs, healthy sexuality and sexual/affectional expression, identity formation, personality styles, relationship dynamics, issues related to spiritual abuse and trauma, spiritual healing, issues related to domestic violence or relational abuse, personality disorders, and anxiety. Josh is also certified to administer the Myers-Briggs (MBTI) assessment and is also familiar in working with Highly Sensitive People.
