My name is Fauzia Adeyemo, and I am a licensed mental health counselor in the state of Florida. I graduated with my masters in clinical mental health counseling in 2021 from Capella University and I have been practicing individual and couples therapy over the past 3 years.
My hope for our work together is for you to reach your desired outcomes for treatment. Whether that includes working through managing your anxiety or depression, processing repressed emotions, or establishing personal life goals, I am here to provide you with support through the use of clinical interventions that best align with you meeting your treatment goals.
Remember YOU are the expert in you! I am simply here to guide you along this process.
My primary theoretical application of practice is cognitive-behavioral therapy in the treatment of the conditions listed above and these interventions are implemented through collaborative efforts.
For clients requiring a more intensive approach for chronic diagnoses, I utilize techniques from solution focused, psychodynamic, Gestalt, and family systems theoretical orientations. As mentioned above, it’s important to know that this will be a collaboration between myself and my clients.
