Emily Green:
Licensed Mental Health Counselor
Emily is a big hearted psychotherapist who believes everyone has the capacity to heal and grow. Her goal is to give you a safe, supportive environment where you can do the inner work needed to heal and grow from your most distressing experiences and limiting beliefs.
Emily wants the adults she works with to have the opportunity for deep healing and transformative growth. She understands that this also includes developing, installing and strengthening positive qualities, healthy beliefs and skills that will enrich your life and further your ability to show up authentically as yourself.
Emily can help you dial down the overwhelm, turn hurt into healing, and resolve the sources of your problems in healthy, meaningful ways. She provides individual counseling to adults, using Advanced Integrative Therapy (AIT). AIT is a powerful yet gentle mind-body treatment approach that can help you move beyond “just coping” and into the deeper realms of healing, growth & positive change. Emily also enjoys working with couples and serves all couples with joy!
Her approach is strength-based and integrative. Emily is trained in the big energy psychotherapies of Advanced Integrative Therapy, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), and Heart Math, the biofeedback modality for stress and anxiety reduction. Other approaches in her wheel house include: depth psychology, attachment theory, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and internal family systems.
Emily's areas of focus are anxiety, depression, emotional regulation and boundary creation, self-esteem, perfectionism, relationship issues, addictions, and recovery; as well as other areas including sexual trauma, family of origin issues, and grief and loss.
She understands that when you’re going through times of stress, heartache or unexpected change getting support to help you through is a powerful step in the right direction.
